The Full Screen Editor is a word processor like program that allows
you much more power and flexability than is normally found in
bulletin board message processors. It also allows you the ability to
"Quote" from the message that you are repling to.
Because of the differences of the keys used by the various software
packages available, a little experimentation may be necessary in
order for you to to decide which commands best fit your needs.
NOTE: You must have ANSI enabled to use the editor!!
Main Commands:
HELP!!!!!! F1
Save Massage & exit: ^Z or ^K^S or ^K^D
Abort Message & exit: Esc Esc or ^K^A
Quote Commands:
Toggle Quote Mode: F3 or ^K^Q
Quote a line: <enter>
Press ENTER for more
Line Manipulation:
Insert Line: ^N
Delete current line: ^Y
Basic movement keys
Up: Up key or ^E
Down: Down key or ^X
Left: Left key or ^S
Right: Right key or ^D
Delete Left Char.: BkSpc. or ^H
Delete right word: ^T
Toggle insert mode: Ins key or ^V or F2
I hope that this little "help file" can be of some help to you. I'm
sure that you will find the full screen editor worth the hassell. I
highly recommend that you download the "complete" help file in order
to explore some of the functions that I didn't even mention! If for
some reason you find all this "overwelming", Just turn the editor off.
